Based on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus near Oxford, we work throughout the UK. We regularly visit China and India and enjoy excellent links in these emerging markets.

OSC is a scientific SME specialising in micro-nanofabrication. We work closely with other R&D service providers in academia and industry to deliver bespoke solutions to customers’ problems. OSC is ready to form partnerships and collaborations in R&D projects at the forefront of device, sensor and enabling technologies. 

An example is the EU Single Nanometre Manufacturing (SNM) – “Beyond CMOS” – in which OSC was responsible for extending the state of the art in helium ion beam lithography working closely with 15 international partners and Southampton University Nanofabrication Centre. OSC achieved ion beam nanolithography down to 6nm linewidth, advancing the state of the art through the development of processes using high sensitivity, etch resistant polymeric fullerene resists in collaboration with Irresistible Materials Ltd.
